Arena

Description

This is where you will go to test your PVP mettle against other Governors. Bring your strongest Heroes and climb the Ranks.

Challenging and winning against other Governor awards you Arena points. You will not lose points if you lose. Nor will you gain or lose points by winning or losing if another Governor challenges you. To gain Arena points, YOU must initiate the challenge.

Rewards for your performance in the Arena are handed out daily and weekly, with the Arena seasons being reset every week.

Winning in the Arena also gets you Arena Tokens which can be used in the Arena Store.

Tips and Guides

1.WHAT IS THE ARENA

You only get a limited number of battles each day (usually 5 free attempts, with the option to buy 5 more using gems). Because of that, it’s important to use each battle wisely. Even if you lose, you’ll still gain experience, learn from the fight, and earn some rewards, making Arena worth playing every day.

2.WHY YOU SHOULD PLAY ARENA

The Arena is worth playing every day because it gives you steady rewards, even if you don’t win all your battles. Those rewards include gems, hero shards, and tokens you can spend in the Arena shop.
It’s also the best place to test your heroes against real players. You’ll quickly see which heroes are strong, which ones need more upgrades, and how different lineups work. That way, you learn faster than just fighting rebels.
Since you only get a few battles each day, it’s smart to use them. Over time, those small daily rewards add up, and you’ll notice your rank improving bit by bit.

3.CHOOSING OPPONENTS

Before starting a fight, take a quick look at your power and compare it with your opponents. If their power is much higher, it’s usually a risky battle, so it may be better to skip them and look for someone closer to your level.
When you find opponents with lower power, that’s often your best opportunity to secure a win and gain points more easily.
The color indicators make this easier:

  • Green = Weaker than you
  • Red = Stronger than you

Keep an eye on your own power at the top of the screen, and remember,.. smart opponent selection leads to more consistent victories.

4.HOW ARENA BATTLES WORK

Once you’ve chosen your opponent, tap the battle icon beside their name to enter the Arena. This takes you to the setup screen, where your heroes and escorts prepare for combat.
You can arrange them manually or use Quick Deploy, which automatically positions your team for the best formation.
When your lineup looks ready, press Fight to start the match. Battles play out automatically, but you can speed them up using the 2× icon in the bottom right corner.
Arena fights are fast, tactical, and rewarding. The better your setup and timing, the smoother your climb through the ranks.

Pro Tip: After entering a battle, tap Pause in the bottom left corner and select Retreat. The game will instantly process the result, allowing you to skip battle animations while still receiving the final outcome. It’s a useful trick when you’re trying to complete battles quickly.

5.BUILDING YOUR TEAM

Arena battles are won or lost before the fight even begins, it all comes down to how you build and place your heroes.
Troop roles → Every hero belongs to Infantry, Cavalry, or Archer. Infantry are tanks that hold the front line, Cavalry strike from the sides, and Archers deal steady damage from the back.
Formation layout → Refer to the image below, blue slots mark Frontline Tanks, red slots show Side Cavalry, and the green slot is for your Backline Archer. This color coded setup helps you visualize where each hero class belongs.
Starter heroes → Howard and Forrest (Infantry), Jabel and Chenko (Cavalry), and Quinn (Archer). You can replace Forrest with Seth, or Quinn with Diana if needed. However, Howard, Chenko, and Jabel remain strong core choices for most beginners.
Escorts included → Heroes fight alongside their escort troops, so placement affects both hero skills and troop performance.
Skill highlights → Some abilities shine in Arena. Jabel’s Gallant Throw can stun multiple enemies (AoE), giving your team a huge advantage.

💡 Defense Lineup Setup
In Arena, you also need to set a defense team for others to fight against.
At this stage, just use the same heroes and escorts as your attack lineup. This keeps things simple and makes sure your strongest team is always on the field.
Later, when you unlock more heroes, you can build a separate defense team with its own strategy.

6.ARENA LEADERBOARD & REWARDS

The Arena Leaderboard displays all players ranked by their Arena Points. Your position determines the rewards you’ll receive at the end of each day and week.
You can tap a player name to view their defense lineup, including your own, to see which heroes are set for defense.
Leaderboard rankings reset every week at 00:00 UTC, starting a new competitive cycle. Staying active throughout the week will help you secure a stronger final rank before the reset.

Daily & Weekly Rewards

Rewards are distributed based on your final rank.
Daily Rewards: Granted according to the rank you finish at the end of the day.
Weekly Rewards: Granted according to your final rank at the end of the week.
Daily and Weekly Rewards
All rewards are delivered to your ingame inbox after reset at 00:00 UTC.
In addition to rank based rewards, successful battles can also grant Hero XP, Skill Books, and Hero Gears randomly.
The most important currency to prioritize is Arena Tokens, earned from daily and weekly rewards. These tokens are earned from daily and weekly rewards and can be spent in the Arena Shop, which also resets weekly at 00:00 UTC.

7.TIPS FOR CLIMBING RANKS

Arena battles are automated, so climbing ranks depends on consistency, timing, and making smart decisions
Participate Daily
Use all your daily chances to secure rewards and prevent slipping in rank. Consider buying extra chances with gems if you want to push higher.
Stay Active Through the Week
Since ranks reset weekly, keep battling regularly to finish strong at the end of the week.
Use Your Strongest Heroes
Arena performance depends heavily on hero strength. Keep your main heroes upgraded and equipped to improve your chances of winning.
Prioritize Arena Tokens
Arena tokens are the most valuable reward, used in the Arena Shop. Daily and weekly participation ensures a steady flow.
Time Your Attacks
A common technique is to use all your attacks in the very last minutes before reset. This way, you avoid being overtaken by stronger players and can safely secure a higher rank.

8.FINAL WORDS

The Arena isn’t meant to feel stressful, it’s just one part of the adventure.
Battles run automatically, so your focus should be on staying active, watching the 00:00 UTC reset, and using your rewards wisely.
With consistent participation, you’ll gradually climb higher, earn better rewards, and strengthen your account over time.
Most importantly, remember to have fun. Whether you win or lose, every battle is a chance to learn and improve. Keep playing, keep growing, and enjoy the journey.
