Merchant Empire is an event which happens every month alongside the Alliance Brawl event (unless your kingdom is not qualified for Alliance Brawl in which case it will be its own separate event). The Merchant Empire event usually occurs after the Kingdom of Power event. This event runs for 7 days in which only 6 of those days will allow the user to escort their caravans. During the 7th day you can still attack the enemy caravans albeit for only 4 hours.
Your goal during the Merchant Empire event is to successfully “escort” loot caravans to their destination with your march or an assistant march from your alliance. Escorting the caravan during the alliance brawl event give points with the points varying based on the rarity of the caravan chosen up to a maximum of 10,000 points.
There are 4 rarities that can be found in each caravan:
N (Normal/Green)
R(Rare/Blue)
SR(Epic/Purple)
SSR(Mythic/Golden)
Each of the rarities correlates to the type of rewards you are capable of getting from said caravan. Normal/Green Caravans will give items with the normal rarity, Rare caravans can give items up to the blue rarity, Epic with epic rarity items, and Mythic with mythic rarity items.
Rewards from each caravans will vary. Items that are available in the caravans are items are items related to governor gear, charms, general hero shards, pet items, resources, etc.
You are able to refresh your caravans using the ‘refresh’ button on the top right of the interface. Each caravan is given 1 free refresh and each subsequent refresh will cost 1 caravan voucher. Every 6th refresh is going to guarantee a Mythic/Golden caravan. If you do not have a caravan voucher then you are able to use gems to refresh instead with each subsequent refresh costing a greater amount.
Gem cost for refreshes:
Refresh 1: 100 gems
Refresh 2: 200 gems
Refresh 3: 300 gems
Refresh 4: 400 gems
Refresh 5+: 500 gems
You are capable of sending 2 caravans at a time which could be of the same rarities or different rarities. You get a total of 4 caravans per day for a total of 24 caravans for the entire event. The average time it would take to complete its journey would be roughly 3.5 hours.
Caravans are able to be looted by other players, up to 50% of the caravans content and points. Each caravan is only able to be hit 2 times before the option to raid the caravan is disabled. These attacks can come from any player who has found the caravan either in game, or finding them through the Merchant Empire “Other’s Caravan” tab. You can check whether the caravan has already been attacked by looking at how many fires are on the caravan (1 for a single raid and 2 for 2 raids). If the Merchant Empire event happens during the Alliance Brawl event, you will be able to see the competing alliance’s tag on top of their caravan to raid. If someone has previously raided your caravan, there will be a clashing swords icon on top of their caravan.
In order to keep your caravan safe, you are able to either escort your caravan using your own troops (it will not kill or injure your actual troops) or use the troops of your alliance members. In order to do this, click on the “Assisting Squads” button to choose which march you would like to assist your caravan. The alliance member who escorted your caravan will be given a small reward depending on how damaged the caravan is at the very end. You may also offer your own assistance to your alliance members by clicking the “My Assistance” button in the Merchant Empire tab. You are able to get up to 3 rewards each day based on your assistance.
A Caravan’s power is determined by multiple factors such as:
The caravan power will update in real time so upgrading your gear will update the power in the caravan.
The higher the rarity will give more loot when you raid it. Try to aim for SSR caravans as much as possible for the best loot possible as you have infinite refreshes available to you.
Targeting the caravan of the competing alliance in Alliance Brawl will reduce the amount of points they get from completing said caravan.
