Bear Hunt

Description

The BEAR TRAP EVENT is one of the best events. This event is held every two days, meaning it has a cooldown equivalent to two daily in-game resets. For example, if you participate today, you can participate again two days later.

This event has two traps. If you have already participated in Bear Trap 1, you cannot participate in Bear Trap 2. You can participate in the second trap two days after Bear Trap 1. The purpose of having two traps is to simplify participation time management, so that all members can participate at different times according to their convenient hours.

Preparation Stage:

Use Explosive Arrowheads to upgrade the Pitfall to Level 5. This provides a +25% Attack boost for the entire alliance.

Alliance members should position their cities close to the Bear Hunt trap, interlocking borders tightly to avoid gaps, enabling faster troop deployment and more hits during the event. (This usually applies to late-end game, as in the early stages alliance members jumping between different alliances can make it messy)

Playing this event is quite easy. To maximize damage, you must use the right hero. Here I will provide a list of heroes used to open rallies and join rallies from generation 1 to generation 5 heroes:

Tips & Guides

First, for open rallies

📍Gen 1

spender or whale, you can use: • Amadeus/helga-jabel-saul

F2P/low spend: Howard-jabel-quuin

📍Gen 2:

Spender/whale: Amadeus-hilde-marlin

F2P/low spend: Zoe-jabel-quin

📍Gen 3:

Spender/whale: Amadeus-petra-marlin

F2P/low spend: Zoe-petra-quin/jaeger

📍Gen 4:

F2P/low spend: Zoe-Petra-Rossa

📍Gen 5:

Spender/whale: Amadeus-petra-rossa

F2P/low spend: Zoe-petra-rossa

📌 To join the rally:

Gen 1-5

Tier S: Amadeus, chenko, amane, yeonwo, margot, vivian

Alternatives: Hilde, Thrud

*These alternative heroes are those who have offensive hero skills in their first expedition skill. These alternative heroes can This is used if you have more than four rows, but if you don’t have an alternative hero, you can simply send troops without a hero. Why? Because hero skills significantly affect the rally leader’s damage. If you send a hero with defensive skills, the damage gained will be very small. So, to maximize damage to bears, send the right heroes. Not only do hero skills affect your damage, but troop levels and troop ratios also significantly affect your damage.

📌 best ratio for bear traps

At the beginning of the game, you can simply use a balanced ratio, because your troop number is still small. However, if you’ve been playing for 4 to 5 months, you can use a ratio for opening rallies: 10-10-80 and for joining rallies: 20-30-50. If you already have a large troop, you can use the full 10-10-80 ratio because in bear traps, the greatest damage is dealt by archers. The more archers you send, the greater the damage you deal. And try to focus on joining the strongest rally whale in your alliance, because the damage dealt by whales is very high.

📌 Buffs that must be activated

Make sure you activate your pet buff and register the field commander minister buff. This buff really helps increase your stats and damage during open rallies.

*You can also use gems to activate city bonuses (ATK, Lethality, Deployment Capacity), but that’s a bit costly, mainly for whales.

📌 Hero skills that are active during open rally

for open rally no matter who becomes captain, when open rally all hero skills are active, the three heroes used when open rally their skills will all be active, whether you put zoe on the leftmost to be captain, you can, whether you put rossa or petra on the leftmost to be captain, it’s still the same, because all their skills will remain active, different from joining rally, when join rally the active skill is only the top expedition skill, therefore send the right hero to join rally, the skill of the hero who joins rally greatly affects the damage of open rally

📌 Hero skills that are active when join rally

To join a rally, the active hero skill is only for the top 4 people who have maximum hero skills. If someone joins a rally using the wrong hero but their hero skill is still low, their skill will not be active in the rally. They will be replaced by the second or third joiner who has the highest or maximum hero skill. But most of you who have been playing for a long time will definitely have all your heroes with maximum skills, so to be safe, it’s better to just send troops without heroes so that inappropriate skills don’t activate in the rally.

It’s better to just send troops without a hero than to send the wrong hero, because the wrong hero can affect the damage in the open rally.

📌 Feature to mark someone’s rally

And currently, in the bear trap event, there’s a star feature. This star can mark someone’s rally. This is very helpful for players, especially slow players. Usually, without this star feature, the latest rally will appear from below. But since this feature has been added, you can mark someone’s rally so that the latest rally will appear from above. This makes it easier for you to join whale rallies. And to speed up your joining process, try to save your formation before the bear trap starts, so when the bear trap starts, you can just click it.

📌 Save formation for the bears

Use Preset Formations! Pre-save your formations for maximum efficiency – crucial for quick rallies that fill and launch in seconds.

📌 tagger start timing (END GAME)

Event Leaders must assign members to specific waves before the event starts. Without pre-planning and clear communication, staggering will not happen effectively.

The Staggered Waves:
a. Wave 1: Starts at event launch
b. Wave 2: Starts exactly 1 minute after launch
c. Wave 3: Starts exactly 2 minutes after launch
[Note: Scale based on participation. Use 2 waves if participation is low, or add a 4th wave if you have a massive turnout.]

The Momentum Rule (The Conveyor Belt Strategy): Once your rally returns to your city, you must relaunch immediately to keep the waves synchronized and ensure the Bear is under constant barrage.
The Goal: Keep your best marches rotating like a conveyor belt
Archer Saturation: Aim for 98% Archer capacity in every combat march
Quality over Quantity: It is better to run 4 high-damage, 98% Archer marches that cycle constantly through the staggered waves rather than running more marches that include weaker troop types just to fill space

The Final Push: When your march returns and there is no time to lead a new rally, don’t let your troops sit idle. Immediately join an open rally to keep them in the fight. Every second your troops are in the city is a second they aren’t earning points.
