Flamedragon Tyrant

Description

Only the strongest, most powerful, and fearless are worthy to sit upon the tyrant’s throne, crush their enemies, and rise above.

Introduction

The survival of the still sleeping Flamedragon Emperor Ixen Tarraszortaz is a closely guarded secret of the Imperial Augury. Ancient texts record a coming day when a new Flamedragon Tyrant will be revealed to the sleeping lord of old to usher in a new draconic age!

HOW TO PLAY

Enlisted governors dispatched to the Flamedragon Battlefield can vie for control of the palace once the battlefield opens for 5 hours. Whichever Governor dominates the Palace longest after this period shall be honored with the supreme title of Flamedragon Tyrant in their Zone (note: personal occupation time is only tallied for the rally captain, not other members!)

Event Phases

Phase 1: Alliance Sign-up (48 hours)

  1. The alliance leader or R4 members may register their alliance into the Flamedragon Tyrant event. Only a certain number of the highest-ranking alliances in a given zone will be eligible to participate after the sign-up phase (in other words, more alliances may be eligible in zones with more kingdoms; see the Zone Guide for more information).
  2. The composition of Kingdoms’ heroes, the Truegold Era, and other relevant information will be used to determine the makeup of each zone to ensure a reasonably balanced playing field.

Phase 2: Combatant Dispatch (48 hours)

  1. The alliance leader or R4 members of eligible alliances can dispatch members to the battlefield. Members to join an alliance after the sign-up phase are automatically disqualified. Championship predictions will also be available in this phase. Participate in the prediction for a chance to win abundant rewards.
  2. During this period, the championship prediction opens, allowing participants to predict the event’s outcome and win rewards based on their guesses.

Phase 3: Eve of Battle (59 hours)

  1. All that remains once eligible alliances have finished dispatching combatants is to await the start of battle. This is also when governors can place predictions and win wonderful prediction prizes!

Phase 4: Battlefield Opens (8 hours)

Governors dispatched to the battlefield can finally enter and start fighting. The Palace will become vulnerable to attack 1 hour after the battlefield opens and will remain so for the next 5 hours, awarding a First Occupancy Reward to all members of the first controlling alliance. Note that personal occupation time is not tallied for occupying alliance members except for the rally captain. The Palace is supported by 4 surrounding Aeries, which will also be vulnerable to attack in alternating half-hour periods (30 minutes of vulnerability followed by 30 minutes in protection mode). Alliances to dominate an Aerie longest in each round will be awarded powerful alliance-wide bonuses for 30 minutes. During the battle for the palace, Pyrocrystals and Dragonborn escorts will regularly appear on the battlefield. Gather the Pyrocrystals or defeat the Dragonborn Escorts to earn Alliance Pyrocrystals. Alliance Leaders and R4 can use Alliance Pyrocrystals to deploy powerful Crystal Skills.

The governor to dominate the palace the longest at the conclusion of battle shall enjoy the supreme Flamedragon Tyrant title for their zone and associated privileges and rewards for 30 days. (If there are multiple Governors with the longest domination time, the Governor who achieves the duration first will become the Tyrant.)

Phase 5: Rearmament (54 hours)

Participating kingdoms shall receive a rearmament bonus at the battle’s conclusion:

  • Healing Speed +500%
  • Healing Costs: -30%

The governor who is crowned the Flamedragon Tyrant may host a grand kingdom-wide dragon banquet in the tyrant’s kingdom. During the feast, all governors can give likes to the Flamedragon Tyrant. Each governor can provide 5 likes daily, with each like granting a gift.

Winning Conditions

  • The governor with the longest palace occupation time (only the rally captain’s time counts) at the end of the battle becomes the FlameDragon Tyrant.
  • Aeries provide valuable buffs to the alliance that controls them, so strategize accordingly to gain an advantage.

Basic Understanding
Eligibility

1. Alliances: all alliances may sign up, but only a certain number of the Zone’s top-ranking alliances will be given enlistment eligibility after the sign-up phase. The number of enlisted alliances in a given zone will be largely determined by the number of kingdoms assigned to the same zone; the more opportunities, the more kingdoms are present. See the Events’ Kingdoms page for more information. Enlisted alliances can assign up to 60 members to participate in the event during the combatant dispatch phase.

2. Individual Governors: Alliances deemed eligible after the sign-up phase can request or be invited to join the battle in the Combatant Dispatch phase. A minimum town center level requirement applies (as determined by zone grouping specifics).

BUILDINGS DETAILS

  • The Flamedragon Battlefield was once the site of a mighty kingdom. Governors of all kingdoms have been drawn to its palace in search of wonders enough to crown a new tyrant!
  • The Flamedragon Battlefield is divided into the Magma Sanctum (area within the red line) and the Border Region (area within the yellow line). Cities are randomly placed in the Border Region at the opening of the battlefield. Governors moving to the Magma Sanctum cannot activate Shields (which are removed on entry). Cities defeated in the Crypt will be randomly teleported back to the Border Region.
  • The palace is located in the map’s center and may be occupied after 1 hour. Claimants to the palace must also defeat the Old Guard defenders (personal occupation time only accrues to the rally captain). The longest occupant at the end shall be crowned FlameDragon Tyrant.

Tips & Guides

FlameDragon Battle Tips

  • For F2P Players:
    • It’s recommended to spend minimal time on the battlefield to avoid being burned by stronger players. Focus on continuously attacking the small buildings around the palace to farm personal points and rewards without taking too many risks.
  • Since the infirmary has infinite capacity, this strategy allows you to rack up points with minimal troop loss. However, unless you’re in the top-tier servers, it will be difficult to achieve higher rankings (top 1001+) without investing substantial resources.
  • For Aspiring Tyrants:
    • If you’re aiming to become the Tyrant, it’s crucial to fill rallies perfectly with the ratios specified by your R4/R5 leaders based on your generation. Running multiple rallies consecutively increases your chances of capturing the palace.
  • Forming alliances with other servers to avoid interference from their rallies while holding the palace can be a key advantage. Collaboration can prevent others from launching counterattacks while you’re in control.
  • Healing After Battle:
    • If you have a large army, it’s best to heal all your troops after the battle during Phase 5, where you’ll receive a 500% healing boost. Coordinate with your alliance to determine an ideal time when many members are active, like during the Bear Trap event, to make healing faster and more efficient.
