Kingdom of Power (often called KvK, Kingdom vs Kingdom) is the most important event in Kingshot. Why? Because it is the only event where, if you win, you can essentially claim ownership of another kingdom.
This event has three stages: Matchmaking, Preparation Phase, and Battle Phase. I will guide you through what works best in each stage.
Matchmaking(2 Days)
The matchmaking only pairs kingdoms with the same hero generation and based on the total strength of top 100 active players in the kingdoms. Resetting heroes, removing gear, or disbanding troops does not lower matchmaking power. Inactive players are not counted.
There is a possibility of not finding a match at all (rare), the game will distribute you “bye bye matchmaking reward” (small and sad reward).
As soon as you know the matching result, send at least one player to create a small account in that kingdom to learn about your opponent. Push the account to at least Town Center level 8 so you can view the Arena heroes of the top players. Check the top players mainly through Mystic Trials, as it gives you a more realistic picture of the opponents you need to worry about. This also helps you identify whether the strongest player in your kingdom needs to catch up in level to compete.
Preparation(5 Days)
It’s a giant hall of governor with twice the leaderboard reward as usual, there is also alliance milestones and leaderboard rewards, you need to save almost everything to score maximum points for that phase.
Winning the Preparation Phase is essential to avoid invasion and to protect your reputation as a kingdom. Winning Preparation is also the only chance you get to invade another kingdom and become High King. Being High King not only improves your reputation, but also gives stronger bonuses through castle appointments, boosting your kingdom’s growth for two full weeks. So yes, it is important to win the Preparation Phase.
Day 1 – Construction Day! MONDAY Apply to Chief Minister before using items!
Day 2 – Research Day! TUESDAY Apply to the Chief Minister before using items!
Day 3 – Pet Training
Day 4 – THURSDAY Troops day: Apply to Noble Advisor before using items
Day 5 and 6 – Give it all! FRIDAY and SATURDAY(until 10:00 UTC)

Players should apply for certain roles on specific dates to maximize the value of their item usage. Some castle roles provide time boosts that help players “finish things faster,”
Make sure roles start at 23:50 the day before, so you can fit in one extra person. No matter what, you can appoint a maximum of 49 players per day to roles, so prioritize the players with the highest item counts to get the maximum benefit and help the kingdom score points as efficiently as possible.
The King also needs to activate specific King Skills during the week to give the kingdom additional bonuses. Since King Skills have cooldown periods, make sure they are not used too close to Preparation Phase week, otherwise you may not be able to activate them when the kingdom needs them most.
King Skill Schedule
Day 1: Groundworks (Construction buff) and have the players who saved the most apply for Chief Minister
Day 2: Fresh Ideas (Research buff) and have players apply for Chief Minister
Day 4: Mobilize (Training speed) and have players apply for Noble Advisor. If the position is full, players with fewer items can use the Chief Minister role, which still provides a 10% training bonus.
Day 6: Community Healing (healing buff) to help players heal during initiation of battle phase, since it will start during your crown, will help players at least until 12:00 to heal from attacks faster before the castle battle
Please note King skills can be SCHEDULED 48 hours in advance To schedule them; Click on the skill to activate, in the button use then -> Toggle the arrows on the top that say use now and will change to Apply -> Select the day you need to activate it and always select 00:00 as start time of the skill.
The Battle Phase starts on Saturday at 10:00 and should not be confused with the Castle Battle event. These events are related, but they have separate point systems and separate rankings. This means you can start scoring Battle Phase points at 10:00, while the Castle Battle event only starts at 12:00 and can last until 18:00 (if the struggle is real). The Battle Phase ends at 22:00.
The Battle Phase can be considered “won” by the kingdom that occupies the opposing kingdom’s castle (if you won the Preparation Phase) or successfully defends their own (if you lost the Preparation Phase). However, even if the Castle Battle ends, you can still earn Battle Phase points until 22:00, and those points can help you secure good personal ranking rewards.
In the Battle Phase, you earn points by injuring or killing soldiers from players in the opposing kingdom whose Town Center is within 3 levels above or below yours. Players who grant points will have a “target” marker on their town, making it easy to identify who you can attack.
After this phase ends, a soldier recovery opportunity will appear that allows you to recover 90% of the soldiers that died during this phase. However, make sure you do not overflow your Infirmary. Any overflow goes to the Enlistment Office and will not count toward the 90% recovery. So heal constantly.
To prepare for this phase, we recommend that exactly at 10:00 you activate all battle bonuses that last 12 hours (tap the arrow at the top left, right below your profile picture). This will multiply your stats and help you do more damage during both the Battle Phase (player vs player) and the Castle Battle. So: 10:00 UTC is bonus activation time. Also make sure to activate Counter-Recon to confuse the enemy so they cannot see what you have in your city.
Before 12:00, it does not make much sense to cross borders and attack the other kingdom, because you want your troops as intact as possible before the Castle Battle. Instead, focus on defense points. That means you should defend players who can be targets during this phase.
If you are on the weaker side, it is better to shield up and reinforce any player who does not have a shield active. Reinforce the weaker link heavily and create “traps” for opponents. You can stay shielded and still defend others, earning points by killing attackers inside the city you are reinforcing.
Among the top alliances, make sure to keep your alliance settings open (with a reasonable power requirement) so strong players can switch alliances quickly and defend inside alliance territory. Invaders can enter any alliance territory freely, but you cannot unless you are a member of that alliance. That is why alliance settings need to allow strong players to join when needed.
Defense is the best offense. Defend your territory until 12:00, then shift focus to the Castle Battle.
Winning the castle is not an easy task against another kingdom, but when done correctly, it can yield strong results.
If you are facing a strong opponent, the most recommended approach is an A/B strategy. This means evenly distributing your strongest players between two alliances. Before doing this, you must assess who can actually be online, as players need to commit to the full 12:00–18:00 UTC Castle Battle window. Try to connect all major rally callers on voice (for example, Discord) so attacks can be coordinated in real time.
The strategy works as follows:
This requires constant attention. You must closely monitor whether the enemy rally succeeds or fails against Team A:
This strategy requires heavy monitoring and quick reactions to rally timings.
If your opponent is weaker and you have one player who is significantly stronger (a “tank”) than the strongest player in the opposing kingdom, a different approach works better. In this case, condense your strongest players into one alliance and build an almost unbreakable barricade around the castle, making it extremely difficult to lose control. Then, send one strong player from the second-strongest alliance to continuously reset turrets, preventing the opposing kingdom from gaining the turret lethality bonus.
Field Triage Phase (2day2hours)
Starting at 22 UTC right after the battle phase, you can revive up to 90% of your lost troops (incapacitated) during this event. Your base revival rate is 30%. You have to pay 2500% gems to get 10% and receive 50% help for alliance members to get the last 50%. You can revive infinitely (revive 30% at the start then each time you get help) and it will automatically revive what you could have revived at the end of the event. Ask other members of different alliances without need of help to help revive your troops if necessary or use/create a second character in this kingdom. If you only got losses from defenses, your enlistment office tanked first, which means that only 30% of your troops died/got incapacitated, you will revive 90% of these 30% which leads us to a total of 97% revival rate, so don’t get discouraged if you got zeroed, you almost lost nothing, 3000 troops out of 1 000 000 only.
